Antibiotics FutureForum & Free, Accredited Physician Workshop



November 20 | 2019

On November 20, Quality of Care NL is holding the Antibiotics FutureForum, a discussion about combating antibiotic overuse and resistance. Dr. Theresa Tam, Canada’s Chief Public Health Officer, the Honourable Dr. John Haggie, Minister of Health and Community Services, Dr. Peter Daley, Infectious Disease Specialist, and Drs. Wade Locke and Lynn Gambin, Memorial University Economists, along with patients and other health care providers will be present to discuss reducing antibiotic overuse.This event is free and open to the public, but registration is required. Click here to register.

At 4:30 p.m., prior to the public event, an accredited workshop for physicians presented by Dr. Peter Daley is being held in person and via webinar called Methods to Reduce Antimicrobial Use in your Community Practice.

This workshop is free and physicians can register here.
