Noninsured
service rate increases
The NLMA Board of Directors has approved
an increase of $30 to the NLMA non-insured hourly rate. Effective April
1, 2007, the recommended rate will be $280.

The NLMA Board of Directors has
approved an increase of $30 to the NLMA non-insured hourly rate.
Effective April 1, 2007, the recommended rate will be $280.
To facilitate timely payment, the NLMA
recommends that physicians discuss and confirm arrangements of payment
with all third parties prior to provision of service. It is strongly
recommended that physicians discuss fees with their patients prior to
providing services.
The
NLMA’s Guide to Non-insured Services provides recommended rates.
Physicians may choose to deviate from the Guide and set their own rates
for non-insured services.
